Understanding your charges
Waplify has two separate types of charges:
| Charge | Paid to | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Waplify Subscription | Waplify | Platform access fee (quarterly, yearly, or lifetime) |
| WhatsApp Messaging | Meta (Facebook) | Per-conversation charges for messages sent through WhatsApp |
Your Waplify payment history only shows the platform subscription charges. Meta messaging costs are managed separately on Meta's billing portal.
Tips & best practices
- Keep your payment method updated to avoid failed payments and service interruptions
- Download invoices promptly if you need them for accounting or tax purposes
- If a payment fails, check with your bank first — most failures are due to card declines or insufficient balance
- Remember that your Waplify subscription and WhatsApp messaging costs are billed separately by different companies
Frequently asked questions
What payment methods does Waplify accept?
Waplify uses Razorpay, which supports credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets depending on your region.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Invoice details depend on your account information. Make sure your business details are correctly set up in your account settings.
What happens if my payment fails?
Your subscription will continue for a short grace period. During this time, you can retry the payment. After the grace period, your account access will be paused until payment is completed.
Do I get charged for WhatsApp messages through Waplify?
No. WhatsApp messaging costs are charged directly by Meta to the payment method you set up on Meta's billing portal. Waplify does not add any markup to messaging costs.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Subscription page. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing period.
