Account Settings
What are Account Settings?
The Account Settings page is where you manage your personal profile, business information, and account preferences in Waplify. This is where you update your name, email, profile picture, and organization details.
How to use it
Accessing settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Select Account to see your profile and business information
Updating your profile
You can update the following fields on the Account page:

| Full Name | Your display name — shown in the team inbox and to other team members |
| Email Address | Used for login, password recovery, and notifications |
| Profile Picture | Shown in the team inbox when chatting with customers |
- Click on the field you want to change
- Update the value
- Click Save to apply changes
Uploading a profile picture
- On the Account page, click the profile picture area or the upload button
- Select an image from your computer
- The picture will be saved automatically
Viewing business information
Your organization details are displayed on the settings page:

These details are set during account creation and can be updated from the Settings page.
Switching between organizations
If you belong to multiple Waplify organizations (e.g., managing multiple businesses), you can switch between them:
- Look for the organization switcher in the sidebar
- Click to see your available organizations
- Select the one you want to work in
Notifications
Waplify keeps you informed with in-app notifications. Click the bell icon in the top bar to open your notification center.
- A badge on the bell shows how many notifications you haven't read yet
- Notifications cover important account events — such as changes to your WhatsApp Business account status or quality rating
- Each notification has an urgency level, so you can see at a glance what needs your attention
- Click a notification to mark it as read, or mark them all as read at once
Tips & best practices
- Keep your email address up to date — this is how you recover your account if you forget your password
- Use a professional profile picture if your team uses the shared inbox — customers may see it during conversations
- Review your settings after any organizational changes (like a business name change). You should also check your WhatsApp Account Info to make sure your connected numbers are still in good standing
- If you manage multiple businesses, use separate organizations to keep data separate. You can manage team members for each organization independently
Frequently asked questions
Can I change my email address?
Yes. Go to the Account Settings page, update your email field, and save. You may need to verify the new email address.
Can I change my organization name?
Yes, organization details can be updated from the Settings page. For major changes (like transferring ownership), contact support at support@waplify.io.
How do I change my password?
Go to the Settings page and look for the password change option. You can also use the Forgot Password link on the login screen to reset your password via email.
Why am I getting notifications about my WhatsApp account?
Waplify alerts you when something needs attention on your WhatsApp Business account — for example, a drop in quality rating or a change to your messaging limits. Acting on these quickly helps protect your ability to send messages.
Can I delete my account?
Account deletion is handled by the support team. Contact support@waplify.io to request deletion. Make sure to export any data you need first.
What happens to my data if I close my account?
Your data (contacts, campaigns, templates, message history) will be deleted after account closure. Export your contacts and campaign reports before requesting deletion.
