Extra Agents
What are Extra Agents?
Every Waplify plan includes a set number of agents, which are the team members who can log in to your workspace. When your team grows past that number, you can buy extra agents instead of moving to a bigger plan.
Each extra agent costs ₹499 per month ($10 if you pay in US dollars), plus 18% GST when you pay in rupees. You pay once, only for the time left on your plan. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
How to use it
Only the workspace Owner can buy extra agents, because billing is Owner-only. Admins and other team members won't see the button. See Roles & Permissions.
Adding extra agents
- Go to Settings > Billing
- In the Plan limits card, click Manage agents
- Use the + and - buttons to choose how many extra agents you want
- Check the bill. It shows exactly how the total is worked out, for example:
- 1 agent at ₹499 a month, for 60 days: ₹984
- GST 18%: ₹177.12
- Total: ₹1,161.12
- Click Pay and complete the payment in the Razorpay window
- Wait for the Agents added message. While it says Confirming your payment, don't close the window or pay again
- Invite your new team members from the Team page. See Managing Your Team

How the price is worked out
On a Quarterly, Yearly or 2-Year plan, you pay only for the days left until your plan ends. One agent costs about ₹16.40 a day (₹499 x 12 months ÷ 365 days). For example, with 60 days left, one agent costs ₹984 plus GST.
The extra agents end on the same day as your plan. When you renew your plan, they are included in the renewal price automatically, at ₹499 a month per agent:

On a Lifetime plan, your plan never ends, so extra agents are bought a year at a time. We call this your agent year.
- Your first purchase starts an agent year: ₹499 x 12 months = ₹5,988 per agent, plus GST
- If you add more agents later in the same year, you pay only for the days left in that year, and they end on the same day as the others
Renewing extra agents on a Lifetime plan
- Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage agents
- Click Renew for a year
- Choose how many extra agents you want for the next year
- Click Pay and complete the payment
Renewing early is safe: the new year starts when your current one ends, so you never lose days you've paid for. We remind you in the app 7 days and 1 day before your agent year ends.
Choosing fewer extra agents
Extra agents can't be removed or refunded part-way through a period. You choose a lower number when you renew:
- Quarterly, Yearly or 2-Year plan: in the Renew your plan window, use the Extra agents buttons. You can lower the number once your current plan period has ended. If you renew early, you can keep the same number or add more
- Lifetime plan: in Renew for a year, you can lower the number once your current agent year has ended
If your team is still using those seats, remove a team member or cancel a pending invitation first. The window tells you how many to remove.
What happens if you don't renew
Your extra agents keep working for 3 days after your plan or agent year ends, so a renewal that's still processing never locks anyone out.
After that, team members beyond the number your plan includes are switched off, starting with the most recently added. The Owner is never switched off. Nothing is deleted: buy the agents again and you can reactivate those team members from the Team page.
Tips & best practices
- Add agents whenever you need them. You pay only for the days left on your plan, so adding part-way through costs no more than adding at the start
- Cancel invitations you no longer need. Pending invitations take up a seat until they are accepted or cancelled
- Compare with a bigger plan. If you need several extra agents, a higher plan may include them for less. Check Subscription Plans
- On a Lifetime plan, renew before your agent year ends so nobody on your team loses access
- Keep every invoice. Each purchase appears in Payment history as "Extra agents" with an Invoice button. See Payments & Invoices
Frequently asked questions
Will I be charged every month for extra agents?
No. Extra agents are a one-time payment for the time left on your plan. There is no autopay. On a Quarterly, Yearly or 2-Year plan they are added to your plan's renewal; on a Lifetime plan you renew them yourself once a year.
Why is my total less than ₹499 for each month left?
The price is worked out by the day, so a part month costs only its share. For example, 60 days is a little less than two full months, so one agent costs ₹984 instead of ₹998.
I paid, but my agents aren't showing. What should I do?
If you see Payment received, agents pending, please don't pay again. Your agents usually appear within a few minutes. If they haven't appeared after an hour, contact support at support@waplify.io and we'll sort it out.
How many extra agents can I buy?
Up to 50 extra agents on one workspace. If you need more, contact support.
Why can't I see the Manage agents button?
Only the Owner can buy extra agents, and only while the plan is active. If your plan has expired, renew it first. If your workspace is billed through Shopify, manage your plan in Shopify admin > Apps > Waplify instead.
Can I get a refund for extra agents I no longer need?
Extra agents aren't refunded part-way through a period. Instead, choose fewer agents when you renew.
