WhatsApp Account Info
What is WhatsApp Account Info?
The WhatsApp Account Info page shows the status and health of your connected WhatsApp Business Account. You can check your quality rating, messaging tier, phone number status, and more — all from within Waplify.
How to use it
Viewing your WhatsApp account details
- Go to Settings > WhatsApp from the sidebar, or check the Dashboard
- You will see:
- Your connected phone number(s) and their display names
- Quality rating — Green (high), Yellow (medium), or Red (low)
- Messaging tier — your current daily messaging limit
- Business verification status — whether your business is verified on Meta
Understanding the quality rating
WhatsApp assigns a quality rating based on how recipients interact with your messages:
| Rating | Meaning | Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Green | High quality — recipients are engaging well | Messaging limits may increase |
| Yellow | Medium quality — some issues detected | Messaging limits stay the same |
| Red | Low quality — recipients are reporting or blocking messages | Messaging limits may decrease |
Understanding messaging tiers
Your messaging tier determines how many contacts you can message per day:
| Tier | Daily Limit |
|---|---|
| Unverified | 250 contacts/day |
| Tier 1 | 1,000 contacts/day |
| Tier 2 | 10,000 contacts/day |
| Tier 3 | 100,000 contacts/day |
| Unlimited | No daily limit |
Your tier increases automatically as you maintain good quality and send more messages. It can decrease if your quality drops.
Tips & best practices
- Check your quality rating regularly — a drop from Green to Yellow is a warning sign. Review your message content and targeting
- To improve quality: send relevant messages, avoid spammy content, respect opt-outs, and target engaged contacts
- Business verification is the first step to unlocking higher tiers — if you have not verified yet, see Verify Your Business
- If your rating drops to Red, pause sending and review your approach before Meta restricts your account
- Monitor your connected phone numbers to make sure they are all active and in good standing
Frequently asked questions
How is the quality rating calculated?
WhatsApp calculates quality based on how recipients respond to your messages in the last 7 days. Reports, blocks, and low engagement lower your rating. Good engagement and low complaint rates improve it.
How do I increase my messaging tier?
Your tier increases automatically when you consistently send high-quality messages. After reaching your current tier's limit and maintaining a good quality rating, WhatsApp upgrades your tier.
Can my messaging tier decrease?
Yes. If your quality rating drops to Red, your tier may be downgraded. This means your daily sending limit will decrease.
What should I do if my quality rating is Red?
Stop sending campaigns immediately and review your recent messages. Look for content that might be perceived as spam or irrelevant. Wait for your rating to improve before resuming sends.
Can I see the quality rating for each phone number separately?
Yes. If you have multiple connected phone numbers, each one has its own quality rating and messaging tier shown in the WhatsApp Account Info section.
