What is Scheduling Campaigns?

Instead of sending a campaign immediately, you can schedule it to go out at a specific date and time. This is perfect for planning messages in advance, sending at the best time for your audience, or coordinating with marketing events.

How to use it

Scheduling a campaign

  1. Create a campaign as usual (see Creating Campaigns)
  2. Instead of clicking Send Campaign, look for the Schedule option
  1. Select the date and time you want the campaign to be sent
  2. Choose your timezone to make sure it sends at the right time for your audience
  3. Confirm the schedule

Waplify checks for scheduled campaigns every minute. Your campaign will be sent within 60 seconds of the scheduled time.

Saving a campaign as draft

  1. Create a campaign and fill in all the details
  2. Click Create Campaign without sending or scheduling
  3. The campaign will be saved as a draft
  4. You can come back later to edit, send, or schedule it

Editing or cancelling a scheduled campaign

  1. Go to the Campaigns page
  2. Find your scheduled campaign — it will show a "Scheduled" status
  3. Click on it to open the details
  4. You can edit the campaign details or cancel the schedule before the send time

Tips & best practices

  • Schedule for optimal times — mornings (9-11 AM) and early evenings (5-7 PM) tend to have higher read rates
  • Consider your audience's timezone — always set the timezone to match your audience, not your own location
  • Plan ahead — schedule campaigns a day or two in advance so you have time to review and make changes
  • Use drafts to prepare campaigns when you are not ready to commit to a schedule yet
  • Double-check the date, time, and timezone before confirming — a wrong timezone can mean your message goes out at midnight instead of noon

Frequently asked questions

Can I schedule multiple campaigns at the same time?

Yes. You can have multiple campaigns scheduled for the same date and time. They will all be processed when the scheduled time arrives.

What happens if I miss editing before the scheduled time?

Once the scheduled time passes, the campaign will be sent automatically. Make sure to edit or cancel before the scheduled time if you need changes.

Can I change the schedule after setting it?

Yes, as long as the scheduled time has not passed yet. Open the campaign and update the schedule.

What timezone should I use?

Use the timezone where most of your contacts are located. For example, if your audience is in India, use IST (Indian Standard Time).

Is there a limit on how far in advance I can schedule?

There is no strict limit. You can schedule campaigns days, weeks, or even months in advance.
