See Exactly Where Your Message Credits Went
Message credits used to be a single number that went down. Now there is a full credit history, laid out like a statement, showing what was charged, what was refunded, and which campaign each charge belongs to.
A statement, not a balance
Open your credit history from billing and you get every movement in order, newest first:
- What was charged, and for which campaign
- What was refunded, when messages could not be delivered
- Where the credits came from - purchased, included in your plan, or granted by us
Each row explains itself, so "why did I lose 400 credits on Tuesday" has an answer you can read rather than reconstruct.
Long histories page as you scroll, and the "load more" only appears when there is genuinely more to load.
Charges tied to campaigns
Every charge is now recorded against the campaign that caused it, at the moment it is charged. Refunds for undelivered messages are recorded the same way, so a campaign's real cost is the charge minus what came back.
A campaign is counted in the month it sent in, not the month it finished. A campaign that started on the 30th and ran into the next month used to land in the wrong month's usage.
Good to know
- A credit we grant you is shown as a grant, not as a purchase, so your spending figures stay honest.
- Campaigns that can no longer be rendered are filtered out of the history query itself rather than after it, which keeps long histories fast.
